Wellness: Endocannabinoid Sytem + Immune System + Digestion System

Wellness: Endocannabinoid Sytem + Immune System + Digestion System

These are three very important systems within the body, so at Vitalibis, we want to support them all.  But first, let’s define them for a better understanding of what they do.

Endocannabinoid System

The Endocannabinoid System (ECS) is a biological system composed of endocannabinoids, which are endogenous lipid-based retrograde neurotransmitters that bind to cannabinoid receptors, and cannabinoid receptor proteins that are expressed throughout the vertebrate central nervous system and peripheral nervous system.

Cannabinoid binding sites exist throughout the central and peripheral nervous systems. The two most relevant receptors for cannabinoids are the CB1 and CB2 receptors, which are expressed predominantly in the brain and immune system respectively.  This network of receptors controls many vital life functions, including the immune system, anxiety, memory, appetite, sleep patterns, mood, stress, inflammation and pain sensation.

We have an additional BE WELL blog post on the Endocannabinoid System.

Immune System

The immune system protects the body from foreign substances, cells, and tissues by producing the immune response and that includes especially the thymus, spleen, lymph nodes, special deposits of lymphoid tissue (as in the gastrointestinal tract and bone marrow), macrophages, lymphocytes including the B cells and T cells, and antibodies.

Digestive System

The digestive system is concerned with the ingestion, digestion, and absorption of food and the discharge of residual wastes and consisting of the digestive tract and accessory glands (such as the salivary glands and the pancreas) that secrete digestive enzymes.

Vitalibis Product Development

Our product development team worked with nutritionist, formulators, kinesiologists and quantum neurologists to develop robust formulas for improved wellness.  Currently, our team has launched four products.

Signature 300

Signature 600

Signature AB900

Daily Wellness Capsules

Our Signature Oils are the highest quality, safest full spectrum terpene rich oils available today.  Our Signature Oils focus on the Endocannabinoid System and all of its interconnections.  Full of premium hemp extract with naturally occurring cannabinoids including CBD (cannabidiol), along with organic MCT from coconut oil.

Our Daily Wellness capsules are proprietary and specifically formulated to support your immune and digestion systems.  These capsules are certified organic and gluten free.  We selected these ingredients for improved wellness:

Organic Hemp Protein, Organic Barley Grass Juice, Organic Wheatgrass, Organic Acai, Organic Spirulina, Organic Acerola Extract, Organic Matcha Tea, Organic Fennel Seed, Organic Rhodiola Rosea Root, Organic Lemon (Fruit), Organic Holy Basil, Vegetarian (Pullulan) Capsules, Organic Tapioca Starch, Himalayan Salt

These organic superfood wellness capsules are designed to be consumer, one capsule in the morning with breakfast and one capsule at night with dinner.  The majority of people are not getting enough superfoods in their daily diet, especially those who eat foods which are processed, full of sugar or other fillers.

Prior to launching Vitalibis, we had many people use both our Signature Oils in combination with our Daily Wellness capsules.  As a result of that non-clinical trial, we heard such amazing feedback that we decided to launch these products as the foundation of our wellness platform.

Also, the phrase “I didn’t know I could feel better until I felt better” resulted from this non-clinical trial.  People loved how these products helped them feel, and we continue to hear positive feedback from our customers today.

Be informed.  Be well.™
